Here are some more resources, this time for you socialites or less introverted types :)
Meetup.com has a Chicago Salesforce Developer Group that you can join to get connected! Unfortunately I just missed the Salesforce1 Developer Week event, but I’m sure I can catch a video, or get some notes from somewhere.*
If you don’t live in Chicago, never fear, you can find a local group on the salesforce developer site, or you can check Meetup.com for some salesforce.com based groups.
Another great way to get connected would be to check out the Salesforce Success Community. By joining the community, you'll be able to ask and answer salesforce.com related questions, and look into participating in a salesforce user group.
Last but not least, both LinkedIn and Facebook have pages and groups that you can join, simply search for "salesforce.com".
