First Steps...

I'm gearing up to hunker down, and on the hunt for helpful resources to aid with learning Salesforce.com.

I will probably create a Resources page so that I can keep track of everything. I tend to do a lot of information gathering by casting a very wide net, and sometimes all the useful information is not useful at the time, but I just know that it could be helpful for the future.

Ive already I stumbled upon fantastic websites: SF99 by David Lui and ButtonClickAdmin by Mike Gerholdt. SF99 should really help me in becoming the best Apex Developer I can be. I am a little sad that I did not come across the site sooner so that I could follow along in realtime. ButtonClickAdmin should help with learning more of the admin and declarative parts of Salesforce.

I can’t decide how to dive in. Hopefully as I gather more resources and start going through the force.com workbooks, my interests will point me in the right direction. Of course the goal is to become a certified developer so, that will provide focus as well.

This is going to be so fun!
